In late September, the FDA issued a warning letter regarding the use of probiotics in premature infants. This sparked a worldwide debate about the benefits and risks of probiotics, with old and new studies cited, expert letters written and opinions expressed. The aim of this webinar is to present the available data, shed light on current practices in NICUs in Switzerland and discuss the findings together. And hopefully to be able to decide at the end: Probiotics - friend or foe?
